Bereavement Services. Facilitate and support healthy grieving for patients, families, and significant others before, during, and after death, and to educate and support the staff who provide their care.
Chaplain Services and Education. Provides spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff of all faiths and belief systems.
Clinical Social Work. Provides support to patients, families, and staff across the health system. Manages and facilitates Conversations with Colleagues.
Health & Well-Being. Provides services and education in wellbeing, mind-body therapies, healthcare, fitness, and nutrition. Encompasses Duke Integrative Medicine, Duke Lifestyle and Weight Management Center, and Duke Health and Fitness Center.
Healthy Duke/Live for Life. Engages students, faculty, and staff across the Duke community to help each of us live healthier, improve our quality of life, and realize our full human potential. Focuses on nutrition, wellbeing, physical activity, fulfillment and purpose, and environment and culture.
Human Resources. Provides consultation and support to foster a respectful, positive, diverse work environment that inspires excellence within the Duke community.
Palliative Care. Provides evidence-based, compassionate, and holistic care of patients and their loved ones in an array of settings.
Performance Services. Measures, monitors, and improves processes and organizational performance across DUHS.
Personal Assistance Service/EAP. Provides assessment, short-term counseling, and referrals for all Duke staff to help resolve a range of personal, work, and family problems.
Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Provides mental health services to staff and patients and education and training to staff.
