Duke IHI Open School

The Duke Chapter of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School
is an entirely professional student-led organization focused on educating and developing leaders in healthcare quality improvement.

The IHI Open School is a robust set of online quality improvement resources for learning and teaching. Members of the Duke Chapter regularly utilize these resources in conjunction with seminars taught by Duke University leaders in the field.

In addition, the Duke Chapter of IHI Open School is the home of the Quality and Innovation Scholars Program, a six-month long practicum in which students and faculty collaborate on specific quality improvement projects.

The Duke Center for Healthcare Safety and Quality and the DUHS Quality and Safety team are proud to support the work of IHI Open School through and work to advance health together.
